My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in Business with a minor in Psychology from Western Colorado University, followed by a Master of Arts (M.A) in Counseling Psychology from Adams State University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado and have also completed certification as a Divorce Coach through IAP Career College.

With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I've had the opportunity to work with people from all walks of life, often during some of their most challenging moments. My professional background includes working in emergency rooms, community mental health agencies, addiction counseling, and supporting individuals navigating divorce and major life transitions.

Through those experiences, I've learned that no two people are alike, and neither are their struggles. I believe effective counseling begins with genuinely understanding the person sitting across from me, not simply focusing on their symptoms.

My approach is compassionate, honest, and practical. I want clients to feel comfortable opening up, but I also believe in helping them challenge old patterns, take an active role in their growth, and develop the confidence to make meaningful changes.

A Little About Me

Outside the counseling office, I've been married for 34 years and am the proud mother of four wonderful children. I love hiking, skiing, traveling, and spending time with my family. I value adventure, meaningful relationships, and continuing to grow and learn through life's experiences.

I know life isn't always easy, and none of us have everything figured out. But I believe we can learn from our experiences, strengthen our resilience, and move forward with greater confidence.

My goal is simple: to help you better understand yourself, trust your own judgment, and develop the tools to navigate whatever life brings your way.
